Manufacturing - Accelerator Magnets

CNE has been involved in the manufacturing of accelerator magnets and components since 2014. By investing in new technologies and fabrication facilities, the company gradually extends the manufacturing program and capabilities.

Below are the contracts we have successfully implemented so far.

     

Laminated Yokes for the MDX L Corrector Magnets (2018-2019)

Contracted by CERN - Renovation of East Area part of CERN's Proton Synchrotron facility.

Scope of Supply: Nine laminated yokes (six horizontal and three vertical) for the MDX L corrector magnets with their base support and target plates.

CR200 Corrector Magnets (2018-2019)

Contracted by CERN - Renovation of East Area part of CERN's Proton Synchrotron facility.

Scope of Supply: Five complete magnets (three horizontal and two vertical). Manufacture of laminated yokes, coils by vacuum impregnation, magnet assembly and testing.

Solenoid Electromagnet (2017)

Contracted by CERN - Spare solenoid electromagnet for the Linear Accelerator 3 (LINAC3).

Scope of Supply: One complete solenoid electromagnet with 21 water cooled puncake coils.

Coils for Quadrupole Magnet (2016)

Contracted by CERN - Spare coils for quadrupole magnet installed at the Linear Accelerator 3 (LINAC3).

Scope of Supply: Five vacuum impregnated water cooled coils.

Sextupole Magnets (2014-2015)

Contracted by CERN - Sextupole magnets for SESAME Storage Ring.

Scope of Supply: 32 Sextupole magnets for the SESAME (Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East). Manufacture of yokes, assembly and testing of magnets.
